Any Israeli aggression will be repulsed said Syrian Information Minister Muhsen Blal

Syria is ready to repulse any possible Israeli aggression, Information Minister Muhsen Blal confirmed.

He said in a press statement that Israel's readiness and alertness spring from the crisis it is suffering after failure of its latest aggression on Lebanon, noting that his country is taking into consideration the possibility of launching a fresh Israeli military adventure.

Syria, he went on, is preoccupied with realizing just, comprehensive and durable peace in the Middle East, including the return of the occupied Syrian Golan Heights in full, Israel's pull out from the remaining part of South Lebanon, establishing the independent Palestinian state and return of refugees.
