David Radavich_s poetry collections include Slain Species (Court Poetry Press, London), By the Way: Poems over the Years (Buttonwood Press, 1998), and Greatest Hits (Pudding House, 2000). Most recent is America Bound: An Epic for Our Time, just out from Plain View Press in January 2007. He has also published a full-length play, Nevertheless . . ., four one-acts, several chapbooks, and a wide range of poetry in the U.S. and abroad. His scholarly and informal essays on drama and contemporary writing have appeared in a wide variety of literary journals.
Radavich_s plays have been performed across the U.S., including five Off-Off-Broadway productions. Fragments of the Third Planet received its European premiere in 2000 in Germany as part of their Millennium Festival. He has acted in and directed plays both contemporary and historical, and has given poetry readings in such far-flung places as Canada, Egypt, England, Germany, Greece, Iceland, and Scotland. Recipient of numerous awards for both poetry and drama, he was named an Illinois Distinguished Author in 1995.
