Karen Daniels turns fifty this year (2007). She came to motherhood late in life and now has a three year old daughter and twenty month old twin boys. She has a B.A. in Psychology and is currently working on her masters in Educational Psychology.
Karen has been writing as long as she can remember though she took many pauses from writing to dabble in other careers, such as exotic animal trainer, fitness trainer, and entomology researcher. A traveling addict, Karen has been to East Africa, Greenland, Iceland, Australia, Europe and Mexico, and longs to see the Antarctic and Egypt.
Her writing credits include a spiritual science-fiction trilogy, The Zaddack Tales (Dancing Suns, Mentor’s Lair, and Mindspark), and a unique children’s book, The Baby About to be Born, a story of spirit for adoptive and A.R.T. families. Her poetry has been published in various publications, online and in print.
An avid gardener and house do-it-yourselfer, Karen loves the power of words, being a mom, and collecting ex-husbands. She believes there is no greater adventure then exploring the human soul and her one bit of daily advice is, “Dance.”
The poem, The Face of the Red-Haired Beauty, is an exploration into past lives, loss and love.
