Thom Brucie earned a BA in English from Hobart College, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. He received his MA from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and his PhD from Binghamton University. His work has appeared in a variety of journals, among them: Schuylkill, Pacific Review, Southwest Review, and San Joaquin Review. A collection of short stories, Still Waters, is published by Tight Curtain Press. He teaches creative writing and American Literature at Brewton-Parker College. His wife and he have six children, ten grandchildren, and two dogs.
