Robert Abel

Robert Abel

Robert H. Abel is the author of three collections of stories, and three novels. He won the Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction in 1989 for Ghost Traps (published 1991, U. Georgia Press). His most recent novel is Riding a Tiger (Asia 2000, 1998). A graduate of the U. Mass MFA Program in 1974, he lives and fishes and agitates against the Bush regime in nearby Hadley, MA.

Michelle McGrane

Michelle McGrane was born in Zimbabwe and spent her childhood in Malawi. She is a freelance writer, reviewer and poet and the English poetry editor of the South African literary site, LitNet (www.litnet.co.za). Her poetry has been published in local literary journals and internationally in the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada and the United States.

Kristina Marie Darling

Kristina Marie DarlingKristina Marie Darling is an English major at Washington University in St. Louis. She is the author of four chapbooks: Fevers and Clocks (March Street Press, 2006), House of Mirrors (March Street Press, 2006), House of Fame (Powerscore Press, 2006), and The Traffic in Women (Dancing Girl Press, Forthcoming in October 2006). Her poems and personal essays have appeared or are forthcoming in several online and print publications including The Mid-America Poetry Review, Wicked Alice, freefall, Subtle Tea, and The Other Voices International Project. She also received a nomination for the Pushcart Prize in 2006.
