Daniel Pendergrass grew up in rural north Alabama. After working as a journalist in the small town of Scottsboro, he spent the next two years living on an outer island of Micronesia and has since maintained an expatriate lifestyle. His poems have been placed in Poetry Salzburg Review, Van Gogh's Ear, and The Chiron Review, among others. He lives in Dubai.
