Solrun Hoaas is a Norwegian-born and Melbourne-based artist and writer. She studied Arts and Social Anthropology at Oslo University and theatre in Kyoto.
In Australia from 1972, she taught French, completed a Masters Degree on the Noh mask and worked in the Japanese Dept. at Australian National University, while also directing theatre and writing.
