Software To Run Vista Dreamscene Videos

I use my computer every day for my work and have often thought how boring my desktop wallpaper is but didn’t know that I could change it for something a lot more exciting. My next door neighbour who knows just about everything there is to know about computers told me that he has a Vista Dreamscene with an animated background on his computer. I didn’t have a clue what he was talking about. He was only too pleased to enlighten me.

A Vista Dreamscene is like having a video on your desktop with an animated background. You can create your own desktop wallpaper for your Vista PC from your favourite video file on your computer that’s in either mpeg or wmv format or from still digital photographs as Desktop backgrounds. You can have what ever dream you want or you can browse through the ones that are available. Dreams are high-quality animated wallpapers that transform static desktops into a world of motion and activity. Dreams are subtle, looped motion videos or animations that bring new life to the desktop without slowing down the computer. A Vista Dreamscene can be a landscape, science fiction dream or something like a flowing river, sea or waterfall. With so many to choose from it is very hard to decide which one you like best. Should you tire of your chosen Dreamscene you can always change it for a different one. You can change it every month or every day should you wish.

I was very interested to hear all this but was worried about the sort of software I would need to run the Vista Dreamscene with an animated background. I needn’t have worried. The next day my neighbour brought me all the information on the software I would need. First I read about Stardock’s LogonStudio (freeware) which allows Windows XP (or Vista) users to edit, change and apply new logon screens. LogonStudio comes built with a visual editor to make it easy to create your own logons which can then be uploaded to websites to be used by other users. It’s a nice and simple way to update the XP or Vista logon screen. TweakUAC (freeware) Tweak V1 from Totalidea (freeware) Vispa (freeware) TweakVista Beta (freeware) TweakVista enables users to optimize the performance of Microsoft Windows Vista. The program has been designed to allow both casual, non-technical users to safely use it as well as containing a host of advanced features. MZ Vista Force (freeware). I was amazed at how easy it would be for me to change my boring desktop wallpaper into a Vista Dreamscene with an animated background.

So now when I turn on my computer it has a beautiful Vista Dreamscene of a calm sea with sailing boats in the distance moving slowly towards the beach. I can imagine sitting on that beach and enjoying the sun whilst listening to the seagulls nearby. What a difference having a Vista Dreamscene with an animated background has made to my working day.
